Our clinic offers microchipping services for both dogs and cats through PetLink! Microchipping makes the process of finding your lost pet more efficient and less stressful. Should your pet get lost, found and brought either to a shelter or veterinary facility the first thing that will be done is to scan for a microchip and use the contact information to get your pet back to you safely!
Once the veterinarian has inserted the microchip there are still steps that need to be taken in order to register your pet! Our staff should supply you with several stickers with your pets unique microchip code on them. Once you have access to the internet you will need to provide your contact information and description of your pet in order to link it with your pets microchip. This will ensure that your pet is returned to you as quickly as possible.
Visit PetLink's website (Or click here)
Select 'Register your pet now'
Select 'I have a microchip code'
Enter your 15-digit microchip code (This is the number that is on the sticker we provide you)
Enter in your information and be sure to save it!
If you have more than one pet you can login to your account and select 'Register new pet'
Be sure to update any information that changes throughout the years such as your telephone number, home address or veterinarian!
