SCHEDULE AND HAVE A DENTAL CLEANING PERFORMED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF YOUR PETS PHYSICAL EXAM AND RECEIVE 15% OFF!

Open your pets mouth... do you see staining or is their breath awful? Time to schedule a dental cleaning! In addition to staining and awful breath, signs of dental disease are:

  • Excessive Drooling
  • Inflamed Gums
  • Loose/Broken Teeth
  • Teeth Chatter (especially in cats)
  • Reluctance to eat or reduced appetite
  • Swelling/Draining wound below the eye (often caused by an abscessed tooth)
  • Tumors/Cyst in the gums

Dental cleanings are an essential part of your pets health. Dental cleanings aren't just for senior pets, pets as young as 2 years old can benefit from cleanings. Depending on breed and dental health history, cleanings may be needed as often as every 6 months. Just like humans, untreated dental disease can lead to more problems than just in the mouth. Untreated dental disease can lead to more serious problems, infection gets in the bloodstream and can spread infection to the heart and liver. A few "at home" tips to keep fresh breath and pearly whites:

  • Prescription or Dry food Diet
  • Brushing at least 2 times a week
  • Chew Toys
  • Chew Treats --CET Hextra Chews and Purina Dental Chews (whatever you choose make sure they are digestable)
  • Oral Rinse
  • Water Additive (Aquadent)
